that reminds me of a religion that i am studying. does this mean i am studying one religion or more than one? or both possible?

a religion = 1 religion
some religions = more than 1.

If you said it reminds me of one of the religions that I am studying then it would imply that you are studying more than one. To say it reminds me of a religion that I am studying does seem like there may be others. I think that most would say that it reminds me of my religion, or the religion that I am studying.
