I am wanting to try and get into being an extra in either t.v or film and would like to know if there are any good agencies or websites I could visit to do this. I live in the North West of England so any in this location wold be ideal but can travel if needed.

Several movies have been filmed within fifty miles of where I live in the last few years. I showed up for "extras" casting calls for three of them and actually got hired for one of them. Not much pay and a very boring experience. Couldn't even find myself in the crowd scene when the movie came out.

WEll look unde the jobs section in the Metro...... the agencies put adv for extras in Film and Tv on it from time to time

There are a couple of sites i know of but i think you have sign up fees though and it is not guaranteed work, but someone i know got some extra work this way
