Rehab is an American Rap/Rock/Dirty South group forming in the late 1990s in Atlanta, GA. Rehab has released two major albums so far; four other discs are also in existence.
Rehab formed in the late 90s and released their first album, To Whom It May Consume, in 1999. Their follow-up, Southern Discomfort, was released in 2000 on Sony/Epic. Bringing together Rap, Rock, Dirty South, Country, and Reggae, Rehab creates a style all its own. This style spans all of the group's albums. Rehab has featured many well-known artists on their albums, including Killer Mike.
Rehab's major label debut, Southern Discomfort, hit stores in October of 2000. With band members Danny Alexander and Brooks, hailing from the city of Warner Robins, south of Atlanta, GA. Their debut album starts with a skit of them breaking out of a rehabilitation facility. The Album went on to sell over 140,000 units, and produce such hits as "Sittin' At A Bar," "It Don't Matter," and "Rattle My Cage," and feature such guests as Cee-lo, Goodie Mob, and Cody Chestnutt.
After a 2 year tour on the supporting the Vans Warped Tour, and playing with bands such as Linkin Park, the band called it quits over different creative view points, but also including personal and financial differences. They were dropped from their label and Brooks later released their unreleased, finished album, CuzWeCan, on the internet.
In August of 2005 Rehab re-emerged with a new album "Graffiti the World." The new Rehab was bought together by original band member Danny Alexander. Joining him where longtime musicians Mike Hartnett, Hano Leathers, Chris Hood, and Foz. The newly formed quintet insipired Danny, and together they reworked old hits and came together to create new ones.
"Graffiti the World" features the hits "Wht Do U Wnt Frm Me," "Graffiti The World," and "This Town." Rehab is currently on tour in the USA promoting the album.
