Under the menu 'Size' for the best quality picture over a distance of say 1.5 meters what should I select
1.3m or VGA?

Help please!

1.3m (although I dont know what VGA means!) I find 1.3 turns out better.

You want 1.3m, which is short for 1.3 megapixels. This is the equivalent of a picture with a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. VGA resolution is 640 x 480 pixels, so 1.3 megapixel is much higher. (More than four times higher, actually!)

If possible, choose the best picture quality, irregardless the distance from which you are shooting your pictures. If you want to print your pictures out then a resolution of at least 5mb would give you nice printouts.

sorry, don't understand this question - have you bought the camera and read the booklet? Or are you looking to buy and comparing 2 types of camera?
