We've just been out for lunch at a local pub, they do great food.

I had 8oz steak with chips and peas (no salad garnish unfortunately)

There were lots of elderly people and stick thin ladies eating there.

What I want to know is where do they put it all. The plates that were coming out were massive, 8oz steak and half a chicken with all the trimmings, mixed grills with two of everything and chips.

I'm not a faddy eater or really thin but there's no way I could eat what was on some of the plates.

Well I love my grub but that sounds a bit over facing to me, I hate it when there is so much food on the plate and you don't know were to start, I could have done the steak and some of the chips if they were home made ones, not the oven or frozen ones, I too would have preferred salad garnish to peas, I have to laugh at people who are stick thin and the oldies who fill their boots with all the grub on their plate then look at a overweight person and call them names for been greedy, I really don't know were some people put it these days, bet they have worms as my mom would have said ha ha.

I can eat huge, becasue I run and jog and work out. I will never be able to be real thin, but I will always be in good shape

I could eat a whole pizza for lunch and still have dinner. but I try not too

I eat the 32 oz porterhouse when I can, but you just cant do it all of the time, mix in a few salads a week or something and you will be OK

I think people can stretch out their stomach. When I was younger I would eat my favorite foods until my stomach hurt, we always had enough food and I was a chunky kid. I had to teach myself to eat when I was hungry and stop when I was full. I enjoy my favorites alot more now because I eat half and save the other half for later. At buffets I like to have a couple bites of a bunch of different things.

But does anyone actually finish a whole meal? The plates must go back half full?
