Milk works beautifully. Just did rubber plant leaves yesterday.

DO NOT use vinegar on your plants. It is a natural herbicide and will kill them.

Outside???? If your leaves are unduly dull I'd be looking to water damage or spider mites.

Inside??? First make sure the problem isn't spider mites or other insects. Then the milk suggestion is pretty good. Actually plants have a particular shine, if you keep them dusted and clean, they shine naturally. Fuzzy leaf plants should not be shined, of course.

wipe the leaves with a cloth that is dampened by milk. leaves will be very shiny afterwards
