I think the best thing some one had ever bought me was a PSP. That day I would never forget. You can't imagine how much I cried that day when I got it. The reason why I did is because it came with a teddy bear that sang "I love you" In a very angelic tone, and it came with a very heartwarming letter saying: My love, this gift is for you. It comes from my heart, as i will love you always dear nephew...

My neice bought her drug-addicted mommy a silk rose for mother's day. Her mommy replied "i don't need this. you keep it." She brought it home and gave it to me, and asked "do you want this?" almost in tears...and i accepted it and put it in a vase on my piano for everyone to see it. When anyone asks, i tell them the rose is the love of a 6-year-old, that her mommy had no use for -- and that i could never live without. The greatest gift a person could bestow...she gave me her broken heart -- in a pink silk rose -- the most beautiful gift i have ever received.

The family ring my late husband bought me. It wasn`t what it was but the fact that he drove 120 miles to find just the right one and it wasn`t a special occasion and wasn`t expected. It touched my heart.

When my husband and I were in FL on vacation right before he went to Iraq a couple over heard us talking about it and payed for our meal and we didn't know until they were gone and our meal was $100 we were at one of those really nice Japanese places, it was the best gift we could have asked for and on the ticket it said thank you for your service to our country, god bless you. That was so sweet i wanted to cry! It's amazing the kindness of strangers sometimes.
