Hi.

Wanted to ask whats the best processor to choose and is there much difference in them and is it worth spending extra to upgrade to them?

AMD® Sempron™ 3400+ Processor (1.80GHz, 256K cache)

AMD® Athlon™ 64 Processor 3200+

AMD® Athlon™ 64 3800+ Processor (2.40GHz, 512K cache) (extra £20)

AMD® Athlon64™ X2 3800+ Processor (2.00GHz, 2x512K cache)

Of the list, the last one is the best, it is the only dual core among the bunch, and far faster than the first two. The third is a bit faster than the last, but the last one has the two cores which makes up for the speed difference, I would go with that one. Oh, and yes it is definately worth the extra money.

amd 64 x2 3800+ is the best one there if you can find a x2 4200+ thats better

hard to say,there always being improved all the time.once u buy one from the store,im sure theres one just out that beats yours.
