No. So-called "power" drinks like Red Bull are full of carbohydrate calories (mostly simple sugars)--that's the "power" to which they're referring to. Protein drinks, usually made from soy protein isolate, contain protein, as well as some carbohydrates (typically much less than in a "power" drink).

If they were called "empty calorie" drinks, they'd sell less well.

no protein drinks are good for you, power drinks are just caffeine

protein drinks adds protein to your diet, it will give some engery.....power drinks have sugar in them and will give you more engery, but not protein....
