Type msconfig in Run. (Log in as Administrator)

Go to Startup tab in the popped up dialog.

Uncheck all the softwares which you dont want to start when your computer boots and click on OK.

Go into each program's preferences and chage it so they don't start up anymore when you log into Windows. You can also go to Start--Run and type msconfig and then go to the Startup tab and uncheck anything you don't want.
