some tosser scuffed my wheelarch in a car park, tried t-cut, no good . any tips that will work before the old man gets home from work??

If its a real emergency and you're gonna get in a row, then make sur ehe doesn't look at the car.

Then call Dent Devils or similar, and for £50 they'll do a repair that you'll never see. Forget lipstick, touch up pens or anything like that, you'll just make it more noticeable.

You could try one of those wax crayons or chipsticks. You can get them in most colours.

They make it difficult to paint over afterwards without getting all the wax back out, but do a good emergency repair.

Failing that what about nail varnish?

I just read about this, but haven't tried it myself. It looks like it could be a good product if you're already tried rubbing compound, and that didn't work.

Grab a tin/bottle of T-Cut and rub with vigiour.
Works a treat.
