I'm 36 years old with no family history of breast cancer. 2 years ago, I felt a lump in my right breast. My Dr had me go for an ultrasound and they found 3 lumps. I had to have a biopsy and they removed all of them. Luckily, the biopsy was benign, but those 2 weeks from the time I had the ultrasound to the time I got the results of the biopsy were pure hell! I was living on pins and needles constantly wondering if I had cancer at a the same time trying to convince myself everythings going to be fine. My husband was very supportive, but he was worried sick as well. No matter how stressful and horrible it may be, you need to see a dr. Breast lumps are not to be taken lightly. Unfortunately, I have to go through the whole procedure again due to more lumps in my left breast and new ones have formed in my right breast.
Good luck and try to surround yourself with people you trust and love. Let them be your source of strength during this very trying and stressful time.

Yes I have been through this I was a yr ago when I was nineteen.I found a few lums in my breast the fisrt thing I did was, I want to my GP he felt it then he refered me to get a mammagram and an ultrasound done and so I did after that was done I was refered to see a specialist. She told me that they were not lumps they were swollen breast tissue and thae reason why is because I dad been on the contreceptive pill and I have sensitive hormone. So I was adviseto stop taking the pill to stop these lumps and so I did.So wat you should do is go to your GP straight away take it easy hopefully there might not be anything but you must see your doctor because you never know and thaings are always best caught early. Hope everything goes well take care:)

I was 25 when I found a lump in my breast. They did an outpatient procedure (lumpectomy) and took it to the lab immediately to have it examined. Thank God, it was benign. I have little scaring on my breast and have had to have mammograms faithfully every year since. Don't worry yourself sick, that will only make your imagination find the worse. Make an appointment with your doctor. Good luck.

See a doctor as soon as you can, but don't stress yourself too much. It might be something or it might be normal for you. Do you do self-checks often? I tried to start to and the first time I found a few so I called the doctor and she explained to me that some people have extra pieces of tissue in their breasts and some people are just plain lumpy. If you are lumpy, it's supposed to mean that you will do well with producing milk when you have a kid.

Yes, it's horrid. I've been through this several times and every time I literally feel an instant coldness and fear. So get yourself quickly to the doctor. With a lump, they'll fit you in quickly.
BTW, none of my lumps were ever cancerous, but you never know... so move it, girl!

Are you a few days before your menstruation, or a few days into it? Sometimes out hormones cause fibrocystic breasts, causing hard knots of breast tissue. This can eventually lead to breast cancer.
You can stop fibrocystic breats with natural progesterone! It will balance out the surge of estrogen during your menstruation which could be causing the lumps.
