the name of the only unit that i know of that runs the actual trucks ac/heat is the Willis apu.it somehow it is tied into the trucks units as an owner/driver myself i don't want to put all that use on the trucks systems i would rather know my ac is going to work while i'm driving through the desert. i personally use rigmaster's at this time but when i replace them i will buy systems that is made in America.

It would be even cleaner and quieter for such trucks to run their A/C and such on electricity while parked, but I don't know of any requirements for that.
