My aunt recently put her USB in my PC. After a few minutes, I found this suspicious looking file called Explorer. I clicked Scan with AVG and Yes it was a virus called I-Worm/VB.GG. Then again, I explored and found this suspicious looking file called New Folder. I scanned and clicked Scan with AVG. Again, it was I-Worm/VB.GG. Now, I know that the two viruses in my aunt's USB were lost. Then, I scanned the system areas using AVG. It said WARNING! System change. It was of kernel32.dll . I just clicked confirm changes. Is I-WORM already permanently deleted? Was the system change in System 32 a sign of a virus. Some sez it was just the cause of windows update..... Help.. thnx!

Yes...if it says it was changed, that's usually normal (due to Windows Update, etc.). As long as it said there is not a virus there, you are fine.

Try running AVG while in Safe Mode (make sure that AVG has all the latest virus definitions and software updates first because you will not have network access in regular Safe Mode) - to do this restart the computer and while it begins to load - tap the F8 key on your keyboard until an alternate menu appears, then select "Safe Mode", run a full system scan with AVG - you should have better luck removing all the viruses.

Here is more info on Safe Mode - http://www.malwaresolutions.com/how_to_start_in_safe_mode.html

Here is an article on How To Remove Viruses - http://www.malwaresolutions.com/how_to_remove_viruses.html

I hope this helps!

in case you merely put in the loose version then it put in over the paid version. besides if such as you assert they are an analogous then what distinction does it make? i exploit NOD32, it incredibly is the final anti-virus on the industry, yet I do use AVG anti-spywere and that's the final it use to be noted as Ewido.
