Do Dell Dimension Desktops have to have DDR2 SDRAM?

Depends on which Dell Dimension, but whatever type a specific model uses, it HAS to use that type, they are not interchangeable.

Go to Dell's website. Select Technical Support in the search box. Then enter your computer model and the word specifications. You'll then have access to links for what you need.

If they say so, then yes. Not all Dimensions take DDR2, or even DDR for that matter. What model do you have?

I am pretty sure they do, i am at school so i can't tell off my own computer.
