It takes 4 years or more if going for doctorate program. Lots of studying. Many math, and science classes. Lots of patience and endurance.

takes about 2 years worth of prerequisites (which are the classes needed before you can apply for the acutal pharmacy program).

then you have to take a test called the PCAT which is the placement test to enter pharmacy school-if you do not pass it-you cannot get in. they give you two chances in 6 months then you have to wait a year and retest.

once in pharmacy school-it takes 4 years to complete the program and there are usually waiting lists to get in.

You need a degree in pharmacy. Takes minimum 4 years.
