although I can access the net via bt yahoo I cannot get windows internet explorer which I need to download music and videos

Try using FireFox...it works better than IE anyway.

You mean you don't have IE ??
- Open control panel
- Select Add or Remove Programs
- select from the left toolbar : Add remove windows component
- In windows component wizard, check 'internet explorer'

Do you mean you are accessing the WEB via the yahoo browser? did you try searching for IEXPLORE.EXE on your computer, or use yahoos browser and go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=1e1550cb-5e5d-48f5-b02b-20b602228de6&DisplayLang=en to download internet explorer again

DONT get IE7 its not working properly yet, try what Yoi suggested

Google ie7 and download it from there
