Silicone would be the best way to start, but the mold isn't very particular as to it's attachments.

More importantly is keeping the area as dry as possible, after any bath/shower, and spraying with an agent that stops or retards mold growth.

Any sealant will do, but silicone is best, but use the one specifically for bathrooms, it contains a mould inhibitor, and rmember it just needs to be to be cleaned regularly. Thats the best way to keep mould at bay.
