This weekend while playing Texas Hold 'Em with a group, the community cards turned up as an Ace, Ace, 2, 2, 2 - so a full house - therfore, everyone had a full house, however, I had another Ace in my hand, so MY full house was Ace, Ace, Ace, 2, 2 - which I would think would have been the best hand. Everyone else was just counting on the full house that was on the board. Should I have won this hand? The dealer said no and split the pot... but everyone else thinks I should have gotten it because I had a better full house than what was on the board - help!?

Also, where can I get official rules that explain this EXACT situation so I can prove to the dealer that he was wrong?

Kick that dealer to the curb, he robed you of your win. 3 aces beats 3 twos the no mater what the kickers are, weather the kickers are paired for the full boat or not. Fire his A$$.

Absolutely you should have one. In Texas Hold 'em it is always the best 5 cards that win and your hand AAA22 (Aces full of 2's) is better and beats the board AA222 (2's full of aces). You can get the rules for Texas Hold'em at www.cardplayer.com

It depends on where you are playing. If you were playing in Los Vegas then the dealer is going to split the pot cuz its his job but you still should have won. Just type in Rank of Texas Holdem Hands on any search engine and you will get lots of results.

you should of won!
your cards where better then the house card!
AAA22 is a larger full house then 222AA
over all tho it's just a game at least you got a split pot! just makes sure everyone is one the same page before you all start playing point this out!
the dealer must of been hot headed!
lol
Good luck

That is bizarre. That pot was yours. The only hand you could lose to in that case was if someone had another 2.

The only way you could split was if someone had the other Ace left.

you sometimes take the appropriate 5 taking part in cards. for that reason the appropriate a threat hand is: A A ok J T In different words a pair of aces with king, jack and ten. it quite is irrelevant which participant has the better 'kicker' because of the fact for that reason the kicker can not beat the board.

You won. I play on on line and sometimes I don't know why I lost a hand when I felt I had won!
