The Present Queen's Father was George the 6th, he died leaving no Sons, so his eldest Daughter became Queen. If a King marries his Wife becomes Queen, But a Queen who marries doesnt give the Title of King to her Husband. when the Queen dies her eldest Son Charles becomes Charles the 3rd, and his Eldest will in time become William the 6th.

Usually there was only one king at a time. What happened to all of them? They died.

English custom was that when a King died, he would be succeeded by a son (usually the eldest). If and only if the late King had no sons, then a daughter (usually the eldest) would become Queen Regnant. As in the cases of Queen Anne, Queen Elizabeth I, Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth II (and there have been others).

So usually a King had sons. A son would become King after him. That is why there were more Kings than there were Reigning Queens.

As to why there are no kins now in England ... well, because the late King George VI only had two daughters. His eldest daughter became Queen Regnant. That is why there are no kings now in England ... they all died.

Actually, there may be some kings in England, kings in exile from their own countries. They might be living in England but they certainly are NOT kings OF England.

There is no king at the time in England because on the death of the last king, the next heir in line was his oldest daughter, Elizabeth the second. On her death, the throne should pass to her heir, currently Prince Charles, and once again a king will assume the throne. This is not the first time in British history that the "King" of England has been a "Queen".
