Do an online scan with f-secure. If the sites are secure - check security, under tools - security in your browser. If you're using a router - it may need a firmware update.

In most cases, you will NOT know if your computer is infected. Some warning signs are:

Your computer is running unusually slow
Your friends complain that you sent them a virus
Some of your programs no longer work or contain weird stuff
Your computer starts displaying weird error messages
The virus announces it has infected you
The above can be signs of a virus. But just because your computer is running slow, or you get weird error messages does not mean you have a virus. So the best way to test if you have a virus is to use your virus protection program to scan your drives! Make sure the virus protection is up to date! An up to date virus protection program will prevent you from catching all known viruses, worms and Trojans. The disclaimer in the above line is "known". A virus protection program can only protect you from viruses it knows about. However, since your virus protection is up to date, it knows all viruses that have been reported to-date! So the chances are very small that you will come across a virus of which your protection is unaware.
but some virus cannot be healed by anti-virus therefore you should format your computer.
