Suffering from major boredom on this chilly, lazy Monday afternoon. Does anyone have any good suggestions for things to do, any funny jokes, any interesting (work friendly) websites I could look at?

BTW, I have a job - unfortunately, it's very slow today. Normally quite busy and fast paced, but I've hit a wall as far as tasks are concerned. After work, I get home, take over baby care duties and let my husband rest. Then I get maybe an hour before bedtime to chill out. Today just happens to be a slow day at the office, s'all...

Get a job. When we were growing up, if we ever said we were bored, our parents would give us chores to do. We learned how to be creative, to make good use of our time and how to be structured. I think it was one of the best things I learned as a child. I find it hard to believe that a full grown adult can be bored. By the time to work full time, take care of household duties, pay bills, run errands, handle appointments, spend time with family & friends, spend some down time for self, etc...what is to be bored about. Most adults today would love to be able to have enough down time to say they are bored. Maybe you should thank God that your life is so good and so comfortable that you can have nothing to do. Many people in many countries spend all day just trying to survive. Spend your time helping others, praying, soul searching or something to make the world a better place.

pass out and discover somebody that desires help. Them help them! no longer something is greater pleasing than helping yet another person. Do you have an elderly neighbor that desires her backyard wiped sparkling up? a hectic mom neighbor that desires her motor vehicle washed and vacuumed? get up, get out and help. you will no longer sense sorry approximately it.
