I am 37 weeks pregnant with mild preeclampsia and my doctors are planning on inducing early.

Both of my kids were induced two weeks early. My first one they said I was having contractions. I didnt know it but the induced the next day. My second I said leets do it Im sick of being pregnant. I also went in the next day.

My labor was induced at 38 weeks for my second baby. The doctor said it was because she wasn't gaining weight. They were scared that if they waited until everything started on it's own that she would actually lose weight in the womb. I know it sounds horrible, but when she was born I was more worried about her weight than whether or not everything was where it was supposed to be.

With my third baby I went into labor, but it stopped when my water broke, so they induced. It wasn't too bad. With mild preeclampsia, it will be better for you and the baby. I had one at 39 weeks, one at 42 weeks and one at 38 weeks - you shouldn't have any problems.

They didn't induce my labor until I was 40 weeks plus two days. She just wasn't ready to come out of that warm oven. Just be patient, it'll all be so worth the wait! That's the most beautiful thing I've ever experienced my whole life!

I was induced at 39 weeks...my kidney and liver were shutting down. At 38 weeks the baby is fully formed, and all it is doing is putting on weight. Its perfectly safe to be induced.

2 days after my due date. I was induced with my 2nd child because I had complications with my first, I went two weeks past my due date and was in labor for 36 hours. My doc didn't wan't me going through that again, thank God.

With my first, I had it too...and I was induced 2 days before 38 weeks.... Good Luck.

You will be fine. Anything over 36 weeks is considered full term. Congrats on your new bundle of joy.
