Not all tricks require camera tricks. Some magicians use them. They use them for levitation and when they make big things appear or disappear. Most of magic is visual tricks whether with a camera or in person.

Camera scenes are cut many times Technically they are not camera tricks but practically they are because it appears to be one scene but its not

You can do the Lazarus Fly yourself, you put a fly in the fridge at 6 - 4 degrees in a tub. When it goes into torpor it looks like its dead; then when you put it on the palm of your hand it warms up and recovers. You pretend you brought it back from the dead.
