Aww, whats the matter hun, arent ya happy? Use that 20 bucks, buy a nice bottle of wine, bring it over, Ill cook, and then for desert.......

There isn't a lot that you can buy for 20.00 that would make a difference in your happiness. You could however give that 20.00 to someone who really needs it, and feel happy for many years to come.

A book of jokes wont cost too much.
A ticket (or rent a dvd) to a comedy.
You just need a good laugh.

Buy a yoga mat and instructional book.
If you like it, it will change your life and sense of well being forever . If not, you can always use it to sleep on when you go camping.

i sometimes feel like if i bought something it'd make me happier too. i don't know what it is about us that does that, it's like i just need something, a little something new. i've got myself coffee cups with a cute little saying on them even though i don't drink coffee, bought a new pen once a fairly nice one and then was too afraid to use it figuring somehow i'd end up losing it. it's really weird, but sometimes we just gotta do something like that for ourselves.
