What a load of old tripe, this is absolute rubbish, BBC has a way of spending the publics license fees on complete and utter sh*te, I for one am fed up of paying the BBC TV License every year and not receiving anything worth its salt in the way of descent programming.
And as for the acting on Robin Hood, lets just say that I've seen better on Prisoner Cell Block H, and thats saying something.
BBC, Ban the License, start showing adverts, and pay for your own cr*p, thats what I say.

Why should it offend you particularly as a Nottinghamshire resident, given that it's now almost certain that the man who gave rise to the Robin Hood legend lived and operated just outside Sheffield (not, last time I looked out of my Sheffield window, part of Nottinghamshire)? Secondly, Errol Flynn may well be spinning in his grave, possibly at having conned viewers for years that Robin Hood was from Tasmania. Finally yes, viewing figures (after all, what it's all about in terms of whether a prime time BBC show can be regarded as a waste of money) of 8.2m on a saturday night is an absolute disgrace - a mere 1.2 million more than the standard setter for a saturday night 'Ant and Dec' with which it was in direct competition. So basically, sir you are talking tosh on every level....

I think its absolute rubbish and a waste of license payers money, as is alot of programmes currently showing on the Beeb. Why is Robin so young and whats with the hairstyles, its so stupid, seems to be catering for kiddies again, why couldn't they have had actual mature "men" in it, instead of blokes that look barely out of their late teens. And I don't want to seem rude but the guy who plays Robin ain't much to look at, my sister pointed this out and she's definately right and the acting isn't v.good either. What I want to know, who are these so called people who would be prepared to pay more for their license fee, what mugs.

Not even bothered to watch it as it looked dire from the ads. I am sure the majority of the public find it entertaining enough for a Saturday evening, it is lowest common denominator TV, popular story with a fan base eager for more, without resorting to reality pap.

to be honest with you i think most programs on the bbc are a totally waste of license fee money and they should show adverts like the other channels! yes adverts can be a pain in the **** but when you paying for a license for two channels or in the case of freeview at least four and none of those channels having anything on you paying money to get nothing out of it!!!

Agreed, The BBC is going down the pan, It has no proper "BBC" programs on it, the only programme i enjoyed was waterloo road, great drama.
The rest is bad... alot of the shows arnt made by the BBC, so what are we paying them for? nothing! Stick to sky people, least you can choose what u want, when u want!

Not me!!
I agree that it should have been filmed in Sherwood Forest, however it was too expensive to film in this country.
Every adaption is one persons view on a story. From what I've seen i like this one.
If i had my way we would discuss the fact that he actually came from Yorkshire, but that's just my view!
