I'm tempted to say yes cos i personally disagree with it. I think its wrong as an unborn child is still a person and has every right to live. They can also feel pain and things well before the time when an abortion becomes unavailable to someone plus the methods used aren't always ethical in my opinion. However i suppose circumstances also need to be considered such as the way in which the child was conceived and possibel dissabilities. Is it the lesser of 2 evils? Also when abortion was illegal in the past people used to just do it anyway often using an unregisted surgeon which was much more dangerous. Also when these days does the law stop anyone doing something they are determined to do? What would be the point? Would it be effective?

Yes, it should be illegal in all circumstances, including after rape. Here's why:

Yes because it is a sin and the baby's heart starts beating at 12 weeks old and can feel pain when it is manipulated so the doctors can kill it. It even feels pain during ultrasounds. The killer docs don't tell you this of course cos they're afraid of going out of buisness but they have different methods of removing an unwanted child. For example they open the cervix manually with a set of jagged edged clamps and reach in and pull the child out by it's foot and pull it out until just the head is inside and they shove a pair of scissors in the neck where the brain stem is and suck the baby's brains out through a tube. Then they stick a hook inside the womb and scrape away all the remaining tissues. Or they shove a jagged pair of scissors inside you and just cut off the child's limbs. Know how the head comes out? They crush the head to remove it. And most women feel this cos they r not put to sleep during this. See these websites for more on abortion and what the unborn look like.

it should be legal because if you were 15 and had a condom break would you want to have a baby yeah you say youd give it up for adoption but would you really if placed in that position my best friend was adopted and she use to cry at night wondering why her real parents gave her up even though her adopted parents were great she longed for her blood mother and i tryed to tell her that she was lucky that she was adopted but she still longed to met her.
which brings me to my other point their are too many people that dont need nor deserve kids and if abortion was illeagel their would be an explosion of stupied parents that dont need to be parents.you know its not right but in some cases it is and being a woman you should have that right to choose to have a baby or not with out descrimnation because its your body and if you were raped what would you do if their was no abortions?

I think it should be legal in only one case...if the child is a product of rape. Then, and only then, should it be allowed. I also think the mother should be able to prove that she made a police report about the rape, otherwise there are a lot of immoral women out there that would claim rape to just get out of personal responsibility. I think stem cell research should not be allowed from abortions either, since that could possibly make it more profitable for clinics to perform these procedures.

I am old enough to know what it was like before Roe v Wade.
They used to have places where girls would go and have illegal abortions. It was awful. People would come out hemorrhaging, infections, never to have children again.
I think having an abortion should be a three part deal.
1. Counseling
2. The procedure.
3. Counseling for an additional month.

no, i feel abortion should remain legalised. in certain cases of rapes or enticement the woman is the one who suffers. besides if the baby is born she is the one who has to take care of it then & her family or she herself might not have the economic means to rear the child.
another point is where the baby is severely deformed / suffering from a life threatning disease & the mother gets to know of it in the first trimester(first 3 months) then would it not be advisable to go in for an abortion as if the baby is born he will live the life of a destitute, in pain.
in indian society, unwed mothers are considered a shame for the family, looked down upon. their chances of marriage are drastically redused & even her parents don't support her. so in such a society abortion is the only means to save the prestige of the girl/unwed mother.
however in certain south american countries & arab nations abortion is illegal, it's a great difficulty for the woman to go to some other country for abortion.
however if the woman is in a married relationship & she gets a child aborted without the permission of her husband then it can & should tantamount to crime & criminal charges filed against the woman

No. Although I don't support it I believe it's important for people to choice what they would like to do. This country was based on freedom---every time I look around I notice we are getting that right taken away. I know freedom isn't "free" but I worry some day there will be so many laws that we literally will only be able to do what they (the government) wants us to do. Also--I am a Christian. My belief is this: God gave us free will. He gave us the CHOICE to do right instead of wrong. This includes: sex before marriage, cheating on your spouse, and (of course) abortion to name a few. I will not take that God given right away from anyone. The only person who is able to judge another is Him so, what's the point of doing it if it doesn't matter?

You've got it on the nose; other than those examples you provided, it should be illegal, because those aren't the mother's fault, and in the case of the last, unfortunately the life of the mother has to take precedence(I say unfortunately because I hate to kill a life(abort a fetus) for any reason, but those are the only reasons with any moral justification.

If it goes back to being illegal then we will just go back to the way it was in the 60's and earlier. You will only see that women will do anything to get rid of a baby they don't want. You will hear of coat hanger abortions where women die and of botched back street abortions that permenantly damage or kill women. No one has the right to tell someone they MUST have a child. It will not stop it from happening, it will just make it unsafe and more women will die.
