Need to do something here!...apart from shopping and being a housewife..been an engirisu teacher for a couple of years..married to a japanese national now and awaiting on my visa approval..anything available that will lead to a stable job till my approved visa? help!

Just wait until you get the visa is all you can do. After that, you can do anything. Ask immigration, but the Japanese government is VERY strict so you probably just have to be patient.

If you are american, apply at one of the bases to work for aafes. They cand give you Sofa status (status of Forces Agreement) which will allow you to work and live in the country.

Take lessons: Karate, Ikebana, Ocha...They teach you good decipline, too.
