If it's looking yellow, it needs more light. If the edges of the leaves are getting papery and brown it needs more water. The best spot is a spot where it gets light, but not hot, direct sunlight.

Change the water. Do not use anything but SPRING WATER. Go out and get natural spring water not distilled or tap water. If you have to change the gravel and vase it is in that might be a good idea. I use very small fish gravel. You should change the water and rinse the gravel out at least once a month to keep it from getting green slime in it.

Ive no idea, but if someone could answer this it would be good as im looking after 3 of them of a friend and they are not looking as good as when he left them with me 3 weeks ago

Just place it in water. Change water occasionally. They usually flourish well that way
