Intellectually, from within.

Sexually, physical.

Beauty from within. If someone has physical beauty but a really ugly personality, that's never going to change. If you have beauty from within, you can at least play around with what looks best on you and you can change your outer beauty (without surgery of any sort).

To have both is a blessing. To have physical beauty without inner beauty is vacuous. To have inner beauty and be plain usually goes unnoticed. To have neither is sad.
