I have had 3 male gerbils for about a year or so. They have always gotten along well. A lot of the time they all even sleep in a little pile together. Now, two of the gerbils are bullying one of the gerbils. They won't let him come out of the excercise wheel at all. He's been in the wheel for at least 12 hours now. What can I do?

Separate them. Either transfer one to a different catge or put a divider in it.

From my journey of working for Pets @ domicile (interior the united kingdom) we don't advise that proprietors purchase yet another Gerbil whilst they have already got one at domicile .. because of fact the previous gerbil would be extremely terrotorial and spot the hot Gerbil as a threat and so will certainly combat till the terrotory is gained that ought to steer in between the Gerbils being killed = ( Your gerbil may be lacking her sister i understand that if my sister died (heaven forbid it occurred) i could be majorly dissatisfied to boot.. you basically ought to convenience her your self because of fact what might appear as if a sort act getting her a pal will rigidity her out much greater and reason alot greater injury even maybe killing her.. so shop up the reliable artwork with procuring her a lot of toys and treats and fidgeting along with her alot daily.. im specific you're a reliable sufficient substitute for her = ) i'm hoping she gets happier quickly x

You'll probably have to get another cage. He'll be happier living alone than being bullied.
