What kind of cramps are these?

im over a week late on my period. ive been having cramps like its about it to come for the past 4 days. usally when i get my period i only get cramps about an hour before it comes. i took a test and it was negative. i stopped taking birth contol about a month and a half ago. why am i not getting my period and why am i cramping?

Maybe they are ovulation cramps. You wouldn't have been ovulating when you were on the pill. Or you might have an ovary problem. Go to a doctor!
