All they keys on my laptop worked fine until i ran a complete recovery. But now a couple of keys are mixed up:
When I intend to type @ (same key as number 2) the " (quotation mark) appears on the screen... and vice versa.
How can i change it back?
thanks.

Go into the Control Panel.
Go to the Regional and Language Options icon
Go to the Language tab
Click on the Details button
Scroll down to the keybord option
Change is from English (united kingdom) to English (US)

You have the wrong language set. Go to control panel and regional settings. Make sure you have it set to UK or American (whichever you are) and the keys will go back to normal.
