You are a minor league baseball player with a myspace. A fan you don't know requests you as a friend. Do you feel honored or creeped out?

Both. Be careful who you let in.....too much can be given away on a myspace site especially to friends. I'm PGA and had that problem...found out later that it was a good thing I didn't take them as a friend.

With MySpace, seeing how many "friends" you can get is the goal of too many people. So having somebody you don't know add you as a friend is something that happens several times a day. I usually just assume it is somebody trying to up their friends count and ignore it. Neither honored or creeped.

requesting friendship sounds a bir weird to me, friendship develops between two people, over time, and with common experiences.
