I like Wolverine in the movie & cartoons.
I liked Rogue in the early cartoon series, but not so much in the X-Men Evolution cartoon series or the films.
Guess it would have to be Storm in the movies as Halle Berry is hot.

Male it would have to be wolverine, without question.
Female it would be between Dark Phoenix and Rogue (although I was disappointed with both characters in the third film)
I did also like Shadowcat

Best male - got to be Wolverine, one - the character is great and two - Hugh Jackman, need i say anymore.
Best female, well in the cartoon it would have to be Rouge but i don't like what they did with the character in the film so i would have to say storm in the film, Hallie Berry is an excellent actress.

wolverine of course and Jean Grey and Storm
Don't worry about Rouge I think that Rouge Jean Grey Xabior and Cyclops will return. Its not easy for Marvel to end Xmen after the Great success of the last movie.

Many years ago I would have said Rogue and Wolverine, but they got so boring in the comics! Now I'd have to say Strong Guy (of X-Factor) and Psylocke (X-Men).

favourites?
ok
1. male x men is Wolverine, he the best at what he does.
2. female x men is Psylocke, yum
As for Rogue, no doubt that in X-men 4 we will find out that the loss of their powers is only temporary, as the mutant they got the serum from (Leech) only takes powers away for as long as you are in his proximity, as seen in X-men 3 when Hank McCoy meets him and his hand reverts to human form.
