If it is direct, bright sunlight, then possibly. I wouldn't risk damaging the chip personally.

no man.. mobile cameras are not that sensitive.. they are similar to the normal cameras but had less options.. thats it. lens which they use in mobile cameras is same as the lens used in other normal cameras.. so there is 0% chance to get spoiled when u click the snap of the sun.

no but chances are you will not get much of an image. the sun may look black because of light overload. Also you will just get a lot of light over your mobile screen and nothing else. You will not get much of a picture anyway so waste of time.

No but if you do take a photo of the sun i wouldn't use the flash

try with normal camera first. if your camera didnt get spoilt, then your mobile camera too wont!

no and nothing will show. you can see the sun if you use appropriate filters in the lens.
