In 20 years how will people remember him? As a legend of his time marking an era? As someone who was good for 2 seasons? Ill tell you how I will remember him, as one of the greatest players that played the game, his sense for goal and his desire to win at a young age was immense. His raw talent and grace blessed everyone who saw him. In 20 years i'll tell my kids about him. I just want to know how others will remember him?

Romanis20...: i second his answer!
he was such a great player with so much passion and drive for the game. 2002 WC was just "phenomenal." People should remember him for his succesful start in international football. he's been FIFA best player in the world 3 times. he can waltz through defenders like their nothing and score unbelieveable goals. his skills are so great and God, i hope people still respect Ronaldo and remember the guy he use to be.....
best striker in the world!...

How we all worshiped him in 2002 for his glorious physique, and now in 2006 he looked like he ate a whole lamb!
But jokes aside, he is a good player, despite all the weight he gained. He scored most of Brazil's goals. He didn't run around as much as the other players, but in the end, he got the results.
I'll tell my kids that.

The player whose goals gave Brazil their 5th World Cup, that's his crowning glory.
Other things, the record top scorer at the World Cup.
The Phenomenon, the only player who has truly master the feint.

Finally, for being the best player on the planet for at least 3 years and scoring one the best goals ever, whilst playing for Barcelona.

History seldom considers the minor blips, it always considers greatness first.

He will be remembered as the fat footballer that was still somehow able to be great and score amazing goals. He will also be remembered for his teeth and for having a fit before the final or France 98.

By people like us: a pure great. Personally, I think he would have been the greatest player of all time had he never been injured(or had he never moved to the Nerazzurri).lol.

By the rest: that fat guy.

Shame, isn't it?
