I reckon that's pretty good. When i was looking for admin jobs, the employment agencies needed a minimum of 40 to 50 wpm to be considered for data entry. that was a while ago though, i don't know if they've raised the requirements now with almost everyone knowing how to use a keyboard.

That's excellent honey! I got a job a few years ago at a relay center (the plays that types out calls for deaf people) and I had to do 65 wpm, I did it, but I don't work there now and probably wouldn't be able to do that well as I haven't practiced that much! That's a great speed!

Yes that is very good. I have a cusin that can do like 90 somthing words a min. She has been doing it almost all her life. But I on the other hand can't do but 20 to 30 (30 being small words haha).

That's very good. Usually call centers require only about 30 wpm. With that speed you can work as a medical transcriptionist.

Are you just showing off, that is very fast and you could be sought after just for your typing speed. Depends if you are typing off a transcript as well, as if you are just typing an email to a freind then you might be faster as you don't have to keep refering to a bit of paper.
The adverage in an office is about 30wpm.

Typing speeds over 50 is considered excellent and qualifies you for several types of positions. Way to go! WOOHOO!

Very good. When I took typing, that would have been excellent for most. The teacher could do about 90wpm.
