Last October it was 80-1. So if you bet $100 on them, you'd win $8,000 if they win.

I was in Vegas in February and you could bet on this. If I remember it was either 30 or 50 to 1. The Yankees were the obvious favorites.

As an aside, the odds of the Lions winning the Super Bowl was 150 to 1. Looks like I lost $5!

If you would have asked ANYONE back then who would win the WS,
the Tigers would be one of the LAST teams mentioned.

i'd say the chances for the tigers are pretty good since they just swept the A's. that gives them plenty of time to rest and prepare for whoever wins the NLCS. They've only lost one game so far in the post season.
