They would have movie props and pick people to read from scripts and act just for fun. I must have been around 7 or 8 at the time, but can't remember the name of the show.

I've been searching the net for help, but no luck so far!! I remember too...they'd have a set made to resemble a scene from a movie and get put into a costume etc.

Well it was still fun looking at shows form the 70's and going down memory lane!

Was it Truth or Consequences

The idea of the show was to mix the original quiz element of game shows with wacky stunts. On the show, people had to answer a trivia question correctly (usually an off-the-wall question that no one would be able to answer correctly) before "Beulah the Buzzer" was sounded. If the contestant could not complete the "Truth" portion, there would be "Consequences," usually a zany and embarrassing stunt. In addition, during Barker's run as host, "Barker's Box" was played. Barker's Box was a box with 4 drawers in it. If a contestant was able to pick the 3 boxes with money it, they won a bonus prize.

I don't remember this show. The closest I can come is one where there were three comedians and the regular person would do like a charade for them to get them to guess a phrase or something. I can see it in my mind, but can't think of the title. All I can really remember is it came on right after "Joker's Wild". Hope someone else comes up with the name, cause it's going to bug me now, too!
