The clutch pedal is the left one and the clutch itself is located between the engine and the gearbox. God help the person who said 'it's the middle pedal'.

Between the engine and the gear box.
Think about it. If the engine was connected to the gear box all the time you couldn't stop the car. The clutch disconnects the engine from the gear box.
Simple isn't it.

obviously some of these sarcastic so and so's forget the time before they "knew it all " , the clutch is located between the engine and the transmission, and it's purpose is to interrupt the flow of power to enable a smooth gear change, keep asking questions, it's the only way to learn , ignore the vocally flatulent, they mask their low self esteem by ridiculing others.

There are three pedals underneath the steering wheel. Starting from the left; the clutch pedal is on the left, the brake pedal is at the middle while the accelerating pedal is at the right. But there are automatic gear vehicles, you can only find two pedals only i.e the accelerating pedal and the brake pedal.
