Is it because they talk about it? I mean some countries have a media policy like the UK whereas others try to keep hush to preserve evidence. However, it seems that there are constantly children going missing in strange circumstances or killers getting caught! You've got that crazy guy who killed 2 little girls not so long ago, you've got Dutroux, the guy they never caught who chopped people up and then left bits in places with grim names, not to mention bodies being found and legs appearing strange places...it's such a small country!

If you've ever been to Belgium you'd realise that there is nothing to do, that coupled with the fact they invented and brew Stella Artios makes it almost impossible not to become a twisted murderer.

it's the same as in any other country . The fact's that you put forward can also be found around the world.
Take as example the killing of the schoolchildren in the USA , how many time isn't that already happened, or in England where young children are murdered by teenagers
When something horrible happens the media jumps on it and it is on the front paces around the world
