Down to the media, example, television. The quote "dumb blond"
has stuck in peoples memory.

It is my opinion, and also from experience, there is no difference in intelligence between a blond or red head, or whatever colour hair they have.

The attitude we have with regard to blonds, can effect their education and job prospects. We should start looking at people, and not the colour of their hair.

If a blond became bald, would they be stupid? If a person with black hair became bald ? There is no difference.

People who say blonds are stupid are just the result of media brainwashing.

We are all the same!

A blonde friend of mine was getting real tired of hearing blonde jokes, so she decided to do something about it. In order to prove that not all blondes were stupid, she spent a couple of days studying a United States map and memorized all the capitals for all the states.

The next time she was with a group of people, someone started telling a blonde joke. "Hey," she said, "Not all blondes are stupid and I can prove it. Give the name of any state and I'll tell you it's capital."

So someone called out "Vermont".

"V," she replied with a smile.

I would like to add to Jaleo's comment:
blondes do seem to have more childlike qualities about them in their appearance and therefore they often (subconsciously) bring out the 'parent' in those around them.....
Blondes (girls generally although it can be boys too) act up more because they are relying on their looks to get them through life and things more than the brains they were born with - it's something to do with our society showing favouritism towards blonde people because they are considered prettier, more attractive - blondes therefore often 'cash-in' on the head start society has given them - and why not - we most of us will cash-in and make the best of any advantage we can find for ourselves .....

According to a book I read, blond hair is a sign of youth and inexperience, because as you get older your hair gets darker or grey so that is where the saying comes from, just means that the blond people are young and inexperienced.

In my own experience, brunettes are far from boring. Talk about wild behind closed doors, wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
