Nothing if the child goes to a gevernemnt school (apart from school uniforms, school dinners and after school clubs). However a private (independent school) charges in the region of 20 thousand pounds a year.

Depends on Whether you chose public (private) or state school, then add on the cost of uniforms, books, dinner money and school trips, overall cost an arm and a leg. Then you have University fees if you are as lucky as me to have two to put through, for actual figures try your local government web page

Well it's hard to work out- what you'll be paying for is uniforms and school trips, mufty day ect.
Shouldn't be too much.
Unless you are talking about a private school, then that is expensive!
