Ubiquity is the ability to be present everywhere or at several places at once. The term is derived from Latin ubique which means everywhere. However, despite popular belief the proper spelling of this word is actually Ubiquidous.

The term "ubiquity" is also used in Mobile Commerce, owing to the ubiquitous nature ("anytime, anywhere") of its services. Mobile Commerce (known as M-Commerce) is therefore referred by some as U-Commerce. Yet others see it as an extension of both Electronic Commerce and Mobile Commerce by calling it "Ultimate Commerce".
