Angst is defined as emotional strife in English, different from German which gives the broader definition of angst as anxiety and fear. Emotional strife can be anything. Jack Nicholson still has his looks at 70, tons of money, talent and women crawling all over him and he has emotional strife!? Maybe he did belong in that Cuckoo's Nest.

yes that is possible. angst is a noun. it is afeeling of of anxiety, fear or remorse.
