What is an indirect relative? Do you mean like a second cousin or even more distant?

I do not believe in marrying blood relatives.

Indirect relative ie cousins second cousins and such? If your morality is based on scripture then these are moral. If you go by man's law then in most countries these are moral. If you are concerned about medical issues the latest research prove this not a major factor to problems. If it something you personally feel is wrong then by all means do not go against your conscience. But there is little religion or culture or medicine to back up anyone who says that it is wrong.

To my knowledge marriage with maternal relatives is medically not harmful for ones next generation. However, with paternal relatives it may cause difficulty either in conceiving or carrying the pregnancy. Moreover, it has been found that the next generation comes mentally and physically strong with marriage between unknowns. One may say it to be hybrid.

no. there is a scientific reason to that as your farthest relative also shares a part of genetic composition as u carry so if there is a disease in your family which is genetic and any of your ancestors suffered from it, the disease may be like haemophilia or diabetes type-1 there are more chances their *(indirect married relatives) to suffer from that disease too.

Well, if it's indirect and one loves the other there's nothing that seems wrong about it

if there is no blood relation even remotely, go ahead .

but if the two of you are blood related, then there can be complications in your children at some point of their lives.

I personally wouldn't but each to their own, who am I to jugde anyone else. As long as they are distant enough not to cause birth defects in any children, then what's the harm?
