You don't need a passport to travel from Edinburgh to within the UK although you will need some form of Photo ID for checkin and boarding reasons, if you have a photo ID driving licence, that's fine, or if you have a passport it's just as easy to use that.

Edinburgh is a link of all the most useful points you are able to do, see and appreciate the town, see more with hotelbye . In Edinburg you will find good days out and get the interior scoops on the very best little-known places waiting to be discovered. Edinburg can also be for household times out to national pursuits. Edinburgh has plenty of prime attractions to meet all likes, including some of Scotland's most visited free and paid-for attractions. The city's history of Arthur's Seat, the Pentland Hills and Edinburgh's Waterfront produce the town an extraordinary place to reside your holyday.

Play safe and take passport and drivers licence.
Having watched "Airport" on ITV, easyjet do not appear to have a standard policy for flying with them.

AS long as your drivers licence is a photo ID type then that will suffice. In fact if you wish to be pedantic about it your driving license is a valid EU ID and as such should be ok for some European flights as well, I know I have flown to Europe many times just on my driving license.

I was talking to a friend about this the other day. apparently you need a photo id of some sort and we were saying how silly it is because she's about to have a baby and to go visit family in scotland by air she'd have to buy the kid a passport!!!
so in short your driving license should be fine!

You need photographic ID so if your driver's license has your photo it should be fine. I think they have a slight preference for passports if you can be bothered to bring it. You will also need the credit card you booked your tickets through.

Check with the airline but I think all you need is official photo id - so photocard driving licence or passport.
