I can see why you have asked this question. I did a web search on "toast spoon" in the vain hope that I could get you some interesting recipes. While it did throw up some interesting recipes for beans on toast, (and an excellent recipe for cinnamon toast which I am definately gonna try), there was nothing about interesting ways to cook a spoon.
A word of advice however before you start to experiment with culinary spoon things. Don't use your own teeth to chew it with. If you could borrow some elderly relative's teeth, that would probably work out best for you. Even a wooden spoon, while (eventually) digestible and not immediately tooth shattering, will take longer than one may at first envisage. If you cannot find an elderly relative prepared to loan you teeth, perhaps you could get some second hand ones? I've no idea where you would get them from, but as a starting point, try the local morgue. Of course this also comes with it's own problems. My personal experience of mortuary technicians when you want something has been that they can get quite tetchy. One minute your asking for a favour (after all, the owner aint gonna need them any more) and the next minute your being beaten round the head with unmentionables and all the hospital staff are butting in and security guards turn up and police and the next thing you know ...
On second thoughts, No, don't toast your spoon, it'll only set you sent to jail.

Toast in what way?
You could
a- Raise a glass of Champagne and say "Here's to my spoon, it's good health, and for it's long and happy life"
or
b- Stick it in the toaster and probably electrocute yourself. This option is more viable if the spoon is a wooden one, in which case, it won't kill you.
