I was just wondering, as my usual tactic before a night out is to down a bottle in about 20 minutes and I spend the rest of the night off of my ****- without a hangover the next day! Wooooo!

So is this average or am I a supreme lightweight who should stick to a mug warm milk and a bible passage before bed at 8pm?

Anyone who can down a bottle of white wine without getting drunk who doesn't believe they are a rampant alcoholic needs to take a long hard look at themselves.
p.s Although you have no hangover by drinking that much that quick you are overloading your liver and probably shafting it quite badly. I do hope you like yellow skin.

Right on. Pre-drinking a £3 bottle of wine is the only way of ensuring you don't go bankrupt on a night out!

Most people I know can only have a few glasses and then they're pissed so no I don't think you're a lightweight.

I drink a lot of wine so I think I can generally handle it. One bottle- I'm well on my way. Another few glasses in the club, I'm obliterated and won't remember a thing. The difference is, I get a hangover! You lucky thing.

Don't think you're a lightweight mate, I'd be half cut if I did a whole bottle of white in 20 mins!! Try doing it with red, it's usually twice as strong - you'll be off your face! The only thing about red is, it's supposed to be drank at room temp, so it's not as nice as a nice bit of cold white...but easier to down!!

Kinda middle of the range, I think. I am in the biggest drinking club in the world though (British forces), so my view may be a bit on the heavy side. On saturday, my mate and I drank a whole bottle of JD (Larger bottle) and a bottle of Smirnoff blue label (45%) along with a few beers. That's truly trolleyed!

not sure about how big of a bottle. But wine is about 12% to 17% alcohol so it would be the same as about a third to a half of a bottle of whisky, straight. I used to find a bottle of cheap red would get me totally plastered, and that was taking it slow.

Wine is the demon drink. I can go out on a Saturday mid day and drink lager till 3 in the morning. Throw a wine or 2 in and all hell breaks loose.
Wine and wild turkey are the wild man drinks.
